Guidelines
Artwork should be anything "Indy" related, featuring one of the characters, scenarios, or items identified specifically with the INDIANA JONES universe (including the three films, the novels and comic books, or the YOUNG INDIANA JONES chronicles). Potential ideas include: a spoof cartoon of Yoda as Indy, a painted montage of characters, a 3-D digital rendering of the Ark, a photo of an Indy prop replica (Indy Magnoli, you there?), a portrait of Marion re-enacting the Marilyn Monroe blown-up dress from SEVEN YEAR ITCH, a portrait of a young Indy (or better yet, an "alternative Indy" in the year 2036!)... you get the picture.
All artwork must be of an original design of the entrant's own personal creation. No submissions can include a manipulation or copy of another artist's work, or infringe on the rights of another artist/person or copyrighted merchandise.
Anyone may submit as many entries as they wish.
Submission Details
Submissions must be received on or before Friday, September 8th, 2000. Please include:

THIS CONTEST IS FOR NON-PROFIT, ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. By submitting your work, you give Indyfan.com expressed permission to post your artwork on its site for viewing purposes only. Indyfan.com will NOT lay claim to any submitted work, aside from non-profit internet viewing purposes. Indyfan.com also does NOT lay claim to the INDIANA JONES characters or universe, as they are currently the property of Paramount Pictures and Lucasfilm, Ltd.
Categories
Submissions will be judged for the following categories:
- Best illustration, painted/drawn
- Best illustration, computer graphic (includes CGI, digital 2D & 3D art)
- Best caricature/comic scenario
- Best model/sculpture
- Best "budding artists" work (specifically for Indyfans under 12, and also 13-17)
Placing for these categories will be posted on Indyfan.com for namesake and honors.
Prizes
Additionally, a BEST-OF-SHOW and a RUNNER-UP will be selected from the entire field of entries. The artists responsible for these works will each receive a prize, provided by ToySyndicate.com.
BEST-OF-SHOW: $100 ToySyndicate gift certificate
RUNNER-UP: $50 ToySyndicate gift certificateAlthough an individual may submit multiple entries, only one is eligible for a prize. Gift certificates are redeemable for merchandise at ToySyndicate.
