In Reply to: Disney Indiana Jones toys question PLEASE ANSWER SOMEONE? posted by Matt from Ottawa-HSE-ppp258236.sympatico.ca (64.230.18.223) on Thursday, October 02, 2003 at 10:53pm :

Good question... but the answer isn't that simple. Yes, the figures are based on the likenesses of Harrison ford, Karen Allen, etc.... but just as any toy manufacturer, they seem to look pretty far from perfect. The other half of this answer seems to lie in the fact that they seem only to be making toys for characters from the movie who are ALSO in the "Epic Stunt Spectacular" in Florida.... So by that definition, we'll never see Belloq, Mola Ram, or anyone else from the other 2 movies at all.

I hope I'm wrong, and I hope they make a butt-load of new Indy toys.... but realistically, our best chance for that is when public interest is renewed for Indy 4.

: For the love of all that is sacred, NO ONE can answer this question...I thought maybe someone on the message board here could help. Those Disney Indiana Jones action figures (which look awsome) are they the characters based off of the actors of the characters in the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark? Or are they simply just the people who portrayed the characters in the Disney Indiana Jones Theme Park ride, so basically what i am saying is that really a Harrison Ford figure or a "Fred Johnson" figure or whatever who "played" Indiana Jones in the Theme Park ride? Thanks to anyone who can answer this! :o)
