Lauren's Quest chapter 11

Lauren let Shorty guide her to the vacant building as Patrick's men poured out onto the street, wielding guns! Shorty and Lauren heard the clips on the guns go back and ducked immediately as bullets shredded the surrounding area! The bullets hit all over the vacant building as well and around Lauren and Shorty.
"Come on!" Shorty yelled helping Lauren up. They ran to the building and easily bashed down the door before heading up the stairs before more bullets came through! Shorty and Lauren finally reached the top when they seen Anthony sprawled on the floor with blood gushing out of the side of his torso!
"Anthony!" Lauren exclaimed. They all jumped to the floor as more bullet's came through! They heard footsteps from the stairs which made them each snap to attention! A man came through with his gun in the ready! Michael quickly reacted and shot the bastard!
"If it's a battle they want it's a battle they're gonna get!" Indy exclaimed as he grabbed his pistol and aimed it out the window. He shot at them which made them aware and scramble behind the bulletproof car!
"Dad is that you?" Lauren exclaimed still in shock.
"Of course it's me!"
A man jumped behind the car and fired at the window! The bullets wen through the window hitting the cieling!
"AAAHHHH!" Lauren yelled as she blocked herself from the debris!
Michael crawled to her and assuringly hugged her.
Eric, who was also at the window stared back at Michael.
"This isn't the time for reunions!" He exclaimed. "Quit foolin' around with Lauren and get here to the window, NOW!"
Michael patted Lauren on the shoulder and whispered to her. "It's going to be all right!" as he went back to the window. Shorty was aiding Anthony. Michael kept the gun aimed near the back of the car as one of the four men jumped out to make another round! Michael quickly turned him into swiss cheese making the man fly back as he got prodded with bullets! The bullets finally broke the window of the car which made the men shudder! Two of them went under the car for cover!
"I got an idea!" Indy exclaimed. He aimed the gun to the tires and fired rapidly! Eric and Michael go the hint and fired as well! The car slowly went down on the men! One man who was a little beafier than the other started to break faster! The other man crawled forward to get out from under the car when his gun strap got caught to the gears under the car! His torso was the only other thing sticking out from under the car before the legs got squashed! He died slowly... Meanwhile Indy, Eric, and Michael fired at the remaining man who's head was visible from the window! As they fired bullets hit all around the car making the man duck more low. I'm trapped! The man ran reached into his pocket and grabbed out a grenade!
"I guess that does it!" Indy said as he put his gun away. They all breathed a sigh of relief when a grenade flew into the room!
"Not very funny!"
Eric and Michael ran with Anthony out the door followed by Lauren and Indy! Shorty jumped as fast as possible out the window! The grenade blew up which sent flames chasing the five adventurers down the stairs making them jumped farther down by reaction! Flames came out of the window like a blow torch heating Shorty's back like anything as he fell onto another car on the sidewalk below! He got up and jumped out of the car as the man started to run down the street! Shorty shot him like anything as he took out his gun! Suddenly the sound of screeching cars were heard a few blocks down.
