: : : Those david morgan whips everyone is talking about.....are they strong enough to support your body weight so you can swing on it like indy does?

: : Thanks for the info Dan.....I plan to get a whip soon....as well as the wested jacket....tell me.....Would a distressed leatgher jacket from wested be what indy had? or in your opinion should I order a new looking one and let nature do it for me?

:
: The jacket from Wested Leather is *not* distressed... it is new and you
: must allow nature and your adventures do the distressing (unless you
: want to artificially distress the jacket - Wested can advise on how
: that might be done). Part of the value of personal items is the joy
: and toil one puts in to making it their own (remember that baseball
: glove you broke in 'just right' after many, many hours of playing?).
: You'll appreciate your jacket much more when you break it in over the
: years of use.

I have NEVER understood paying someone extra to pre-wear out a garment for me. I have had the same A-2, from the 1979 era, and it actually looks better today than when I bought it, and believe me, it has been through LOTS of adventures with me. I also have a Wested Leather jacket in production as this is being written. The A-2 will be retired, but my two teenage daughters are currently jockeying for position to try to wrestle it from old dad, since it IS in such good shape. I agree with the above message. Weather them yourself. You'll appreciate every line and wrinkle in it, because everyone of them will tell their own story, one's YOU wrote! Regards. Michaelson
