There were several North Andean civilizations (example: Muisca) in Central Columbia that were famous for making wondeful golden artifacts. When the Spaniard Pizzaro conquered the region, he found a valley containing a rich city where common houses were decorated with gold and children played marbles with un-cut emeralds. The Indy possibilities are endless here. Perhaps the plot for the forum novel could detour to Columbia and involve these golden artifacts. The region is geologicaly rich with sheer cliffs, big mountains, beautiful waterfalls, and lush jungles. Just a thought...
