: I work in the industry and know the reason why you haven't seen the Spielberg/Lucas films on dvd. Both of them way back in 1995 invested a TON, I mean a TON of money in the DIVX technology. As you all know the DIVX went bust faster than you can say Beta.
: Both of them took a heavy investment loss and left them bitter with the entire dvd thing. I know to them losing 100 million of personal money is like you dropping a nickel, but that's why there's been such ambivolence with these guys - hurt feelings and all.
