: .
: My personal opinion on your well made observations is that (concerning the brim) it`s the shape of Harrison Ford`s head. My dad sometimes wears my Bushman and the brim always slightly contorts into the shape we all love so much. I put it on and it shrinks back into "Alley Mcbeal". I`ve tried shaping it while I wear it but it doesn`t seem to work too well. Any of my fedoras my dad tries on shape into the Indy brim. His head shape is oval with the front and back longer. With your fingers, hold your hat through the inside slightly stretching it front to back and you see the "look". I`m pretty sure that`s what gives Mr. Ford his distinct look. Smiles-Jack

Thanks for the tip. I never thought of it that way. Now that ya mention it, my head is in between round and oval, so my brim looks pretty close...but not dead on. Maybe I'll slam my head in a door a couple dozens times to even it out.
