You're right - but the problem is that Lucas didn't direct 'Empire' or 'Jedi' like he is with the new Star Wars movies. I think he's a little more involved in the process this time; BUT the one thing is that the shooting schedule isn't all that long (like 6 or 8 months I think for principle photography) so maybe while Episode II is in post-production he can put his producer shoes back on. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
