Augh! Pokemon?!

Hey. So, your KIDS were watching Pokemon, eh? Heh heh heh... :) Anyhow, Indy seems to be popular in cartoons. I recall seeing him a few times in both Tiny Toons and Animaniacs (now I'm giving away my age...). In fact, Animaniacs once featured Jerry Lewis as Illinois Jones, or something along those lines. It was a combination whose time had come!

Dot: "Hurry, Illy! Use your whip!"
Jerry Lewis (obviously unfamiliar with the artform of correct bullwhip use): "I think its a non-working whip!"

: (Blushing deeply) I've been logging on here for a good while now and enjoy watching the discussions/comments but never felt I had anything really relevant to say (and please don't say I'm not being relevant now!)Anyway, a while back the Gremlins/Indy link was mentioned and how many other things that Indy has "appeared" in. Well yesterday my kids (damn now I'm giving my age away - were watching - of all things - Pokemon and what do I see but some kid dressed as Indy going to look for fossils. They had his outfit down to a tee and there was even a snatch of Indified (is that a word?) music - I didn't know whether to be pleased or outraged ... is Indy taking over the world or is this just wishful thinking on my part? Has anyone seen anything similar to this? As the title of this post says if you've done all this before then just tell me to go sit in the corner again, apart from that "Hi everyone : )) "
