I thought of this too and Propguns.com seems to have a better turn around time from pre-production to actually getting a product out. As it was late night Friday that I discovered them, I won't be able to call them until Monday.

Check out the site. I think if we're satisfied with a resin replica (non-working), we have found out fiscally conservative alternative.
