His response was that the two jackets are exactly identical (cut from the same pattern), but that the ToD jacket is 1" Longer on the body.

For anyone who cares to know: there is an alternative to the dark brown lambskin. Since wested does not distress the lamb version (leather used is too thin), I asked if there was an alternative if I wanted to stick to lamb. He said that he would send me samples of a chestnut colored lambskin which has an "antique" finish and where they use a brown over beige dying process. He also stated that at the seams, when the leather is folded, it appears lighter and thus gives a pre-distressed look. I'll write back as soon as I get the samples.
