Side Strap mods to Wested

I got my Temple back from the tailor today, with the side straps adjusted to the correct height.
It's worked out fairly well, and the jacket seems to move more like the action shots in the films, where the side split opens and shows a distinct separation between the side and back panels.
I kept the D ring loops sewn into the seam rather than mount them on the outside of the back panel. Not quite authentic, perhaps, but I think it looks much neater.
One word of caution if you're thinking of altering your pre-mod Wested, you'll have to get the inside of the pockets sewn into the lining to stop the strap pulling the pocket inside out under tension.
Probably the reason why Wested started sewing the straps at the bottom of the pocket opening was to eliminate this step.
All in all, I'm happy with the result.
