Indy Gear question!!!

Okay, Indy goes to India waring a leather jacket. Leather is made out
of cows. Cows are worshiped in India. How would you feel if someone
was parading around in you god's skin? (That is for everyone who has a
god, like me). Shouldn't Indy be stoned or something by the Hindus???
It looks like a cotton jacket is the way to go.
