I disagree, there is and only will be ONE Bond - Sean Connery. The
rest are only pale imitations of the original; a point that has been
realized by Lucas/Speilberg in not replacing Ford. Both series have
there strengths. But you must take into consideration the eras in which
these two series take place. The biggest weapons(baring the supernatural)
that Indy has had to face are practically tinker toys when compared to
some of the weapons held by enemies in the Bond films. Besides, I like
the fact that Bond scores at least 2 times a film, Ian Flemming wouldn't
have it any other way. The thing about Bond is that he never gets rattled,
he always keeps his cool. He is one of the few strong male figures left
in the movie industries today. Bond has never compromised or given in
to political correctness. This is why he has such mass appeal.
