You only typically hear about moviestar such and such getting 10,12,20 million dollar contract. For every one of those, there's a hundred waiters out there trying to scrape by as an actor. if you're a marque name, you get BIG bucks. If not, you get very little. The strike isn't to help Harrison Ford or George Clooney, it's to help the little guys. That's who the union's for. You more than likely won't even see the big star's contracts go up much, if at all.
