Ark of the Covenant, Reading Material...

Hi All,

In the July National Geographic there is a great article on Aksum, Ethiopia which many believe to be the resting place of the Ark of the Covenant.

They talk to the "Keeper of the Ark" a man called Abba Mekonen who guards the Ark in a small chapel in Aksum.

The material in this article is also discussed in greater detail in a good book called:

"The Sign and the Seal"

Both sources discuss how the Ark was stolen from King Solomon by the sons of his high preists who were escorting Menelik (Son of the Queen of Sheba and Solomon) back to his Mother's homeland (Ethiopia).

I am a longtime subscriber to the Geographic and I must say that the July issue has the best content overall of any issue I've ever gotten, every article is a treat, plus there is a great Grizzly Bear Photo on the cover.

I highly reccomend everyone to go pick up a copy at the newsstand.
