It sounds to me that if there is a gritty movie (Indy 4) that is delivered, Williams will write a gritty score. His job is to write appropriate music for the movie that is delivered. It’s interesting that he has ideas to bring back the Imperial theme from “A new Hope” in some form. I think it’s a great idea. I always thought that it was strange that the theme disappeared after the original Star Wars. I guess in Star Wars the real threat was the Empire and not Vader as much. When Vader rose in power (Empire Strikes Back), he got his own theme. It makes sense. Cheers
