Yeah, I just checked my files and they are 96 bitrate at 22 Khz.
Sorry about that - they sound great on my computer and CD player but I know the kind of troubles you run into with compression rates.
I don't know if encoding them as wave files would help, or if there's another way to keep the sound quality high...there's a bunch of websites on the 'net that would be a better resource than me.
Have you checked out the music for 'Shadows of the Empire,' the Star Wars multimedia project from the 90's? There's a whole slew of great Indy and Star Wars'ish music on it, that is familiar enough but different, making it ideal for a project.
