: Neat idea, but make sure the trany and rearend can handle the extra boost from the header and carbs. I've read on the Plymouth/Dodge forum where folks have had to change the entire drive train from the bell housing to rear end to keep from stripping gears. Regards. Michaelson
I didn't know that the Stromburgs and a header would give it that much power to possibly effect the drive train. I better watch out for that. Thanks for the warning. I'd hate to think that all of us are turning the Indyfan forum into a classic car forum but what's your guesstimate on how much horse power the carb and header would put out? I don't think Indy would've been a car guy. He would've been too busy.
