Lewis and Clark had a .50 cal. air gun they hunted deer with. Darren McGavin claimed to have had one when he was ten in "A Christmass Story" and he must have been 10 in 1900 in that time frame. I got buzzed by the military WHILE DRIVING! Nevada, by F-16's and A-10's, not to mention the B-52's 3 in a row that flew directly over my shack at 500 feet every day.
