It evolved. We had groups 'splinter off', as instead of a rolling discussion of this or that, there was a polorization of interest in specifics. Gear was the primary interest at the time, with the then new Indy games and fan-fiction coming in a close second. Folks began to complain about the 'other groups' carrying on all the discussions, and individuals decided to start their own websites so those specific interests could be continued without tieing up this forum.
Indygear.com was where the 'gearheads' went. I have no clue where the other two groups went, but when THEY left....no one was really left to continue here, and there was no new movie information coming out for a 4th film.
