Indy in 2008?

The Hollywood Reporter is suggesting that Indy 4 is currently being scheduled for a 2008 release date. Seems like an awfully long wait for a film that is said to already be in, or nearing, production. Could this lend credibility to the rumour of more than one sequel being planned/considered?
