In Reply to: Is Memorial Day 2008 Being Saved for Indy 4? posted by James from cpe-024-168-226-008.sc.res.rr.com (24.168.226.8) on Friday, December 08, 2006 at 6:42pm :
I don't know, James. They've had so many projects fall through the cracks in the past year or so, I think they're getting gun shy to project much further than a year in advance on upcoming films.
Case in point...'The Hobbit'. With the pulling of Jackson as director (and even that's not totally for sure), even that project is in doubt as to when it's going to get to the big screen.

: A few weeks ago, I noticed the following story over at darkhorizons.
: It reports that the 2008 summer film schedule is rapidly filling up, with most of the prime release dates already taken. However, it's the final sentence which really caught my eye:
: Of particular interest is in what exactly will release on Memorial Day Weekend 2008 which is not yet set.
: Could this essentially be Indy 4's last stand? Most of the creative team involved have finally admitted, if it can't be made within the next year or so, it should be put to rest. Does this reserved date represent Indy's last chance to make it into theaters?
