Open To A New Serial?

I was thinking of joining in, but I had a slightly different idea in mind. I was thinking of starting a new story separate from the current forum novel. I'd like it to be an Indy story, but since that's a lot of baggage to carry for a first story, (I'd probably wind up dropping it smack in the middle of the events of Raiders by mistake!), I thought I'd use a fictional character.

The tone would be equal parts Indiana Jones, Goonies, and Big Bad Mama II. The level of sophistication would be low. I haven't decided on the time period yet, though.

I want to keep the story short, so I was thinking of just getting one other person to help write it. I just want to try this out for fun, and hopefully I'll have the time to do it. I figured I'd only post on a certain day, so it wouldn't crowd the forum. Suggestions?
