: Dear Forum:
: I have been rather inactive in the last couple of weeks (as some of you might perhaps have observed... or perhaps not) and I want to apologize for not having been able to contribute to the forum chapter anymore (I think I've lost the thread completely!).
: As it is... my schedule has been packed with school work, parttime job demands and extracurricular activities. 2 weeks ago we had our University days & last week we had the University's sportsfest and furthermore I just came back from a trek in the mountains. *in other words: I am exhausted!*
: I had a glimpse of how Indy might've felt as he made his way through those jungles, caves and mountaintops. I've enough scars to prove it *g*. Infact I've learned quite a lot from my little escapade: like that caves are a lot less drier than they appear in the movies... that the snakes *shudder* you meet in a cave are rather harmless, compared to the ones you meet outside the caves! I got a good look at stalagmite and stagtites, fended off bats from my hat and screamed my head off when I saw a red-orange colored spider only 2 feet away from me (the guide later said that the little thing must've been even more scared than I had been).
: I also went paddling in a little fishing boat on a huge mountain lake, and cooled-off under a cascading waterfall. We pitched tents near the lake and sang silly songs around a bondfire till deep into the night... (celebrating 9.9.99) Wow. I had a fabulous time.
