Chapter Eighteen (Those roman numerals gave me a headache)
Micah and the gang ran out of the demolished base and seen dust and debris rising east from the base.
ėLetís check it out!î Indy said.

The two jeeps went across the planes as fast as possible! Finally reaching their destination, they gazed in amazement upon the cloning machine!
ėWhoa!î Shorty exclaimed. ėThis is heavy!
They started to walk towards it.

In the cloning machine, Alice, Michaelson, Goodsport, Aragorn, Ulla, and Jerico lay near broken crates.

The jeeps pulled up near the cloning machine.
ėMe and Shortyíll go this way.î Brett said as him and Shorty jumped out of the jeeps with their weapons ready. They went around bushes to the side of the cloning machine. Part of it was torn open.
ėLetís go in.î Shorty said.
Shorty easily slid himself into the cloning machine, but Brett had kind of trouble getting in.
ėNow I know why they call you Short Round!î Brett exclaimed. ėYour Shorty except youíre not round though.î
ėHere, Iíll help ya in bro!î Shorty said.
ėBro?î Brett asked. ėWhyíd ya call me that?î
ėI dunno, it just came out.î Shorty replied.
Brett gave him a curious look. Shorty helped Brett in finally.
ėThis place is cool man!î Brett said.
They looked upon the engineís dead gears. Walking through the engine room, a flash of light appeared behind them knocking them off their feet! They turned around and seen Sauron standing there with James in his grasp.
ėJames!î Brett yelled.
Brett got up and charged like a raging bull at Sauron which Sauron only put his hand up and caught Brett. Shorty ran and jumped feet first into Sauron when Sauron suddenly disappeared, engulfing all three of them.

Outside the cloning machine, Indy, Meg, Alice, Jayne, and Micah walked around the giant hulk of metal. They seen an opening a story above them. Climbing the metal like a skilled mountain climber, Indy looked into the whole.
ėGuys!î He yelled back. ėI found Michaelson and the rest in here!î

Brett, James, and Shorty were tied up against stalactites in a cave-like throne room. They all woke up at the same time.
ėGood!î Sauron exclaimed. ėYouíre up!î
ėLet us go!î Shorty yelled.
ėNot so fast.î Sauron said. ėOf course your past is shadowed in mystery, and now you will find out all of it!î
ėWhy would you want to have to tell us about our past!î James said. ėWhatís it to you?î
ėYou will find out.î Sauron said. ėOf course you been swapped when you were babies which explains that youíre brothers!î
ėWeíre ten years apart!î Brett yelled.
ėYes of course!î Sauron replied. ėBut remember, youíre parents werenít married! When Short Round was born they left him at someoneís doorstep. Unfortunately it was Goodsportís!î
Shorty clenched his fists and forgetting that he was tied up, went for an attack at Sauron who just wickedly laughed with pleasure.
ėThatís not true!î Shorty yelled, tears forming in his eyes. ėThatís impossible!î
ėOh, so I guess Micki leaving you is also impossible is it?î Sauron said.
Shortyís blood was boiling with rage! Anger swelled from within him! If he had the chance heíd attack Sauron like a wild animal! Sauron waved a hand over the three brothers who fell into a deep sleep. They all had the same night mare visionÖ.
BOOM!
Two brothers who were two years apart lay in the same crib. Their parents were both not married yet. A Lambert and a Round.
BOOM!
Ten years later the other baby is born. The two ėParentsî separated, and taking the baby with him, the father left him on a door step. Knocking on it, he ran before someone could open the door. Out stepped a man, known as Goodsport. He took the baby in with him, not knowing this moment could change the rest of his life!
BOOM!
Micki and Shorty drove down the mountain slope at top speed. They just left Indy and Megís wedding(or where ever it was at the end of the Tessa story).

Two men in motorcycles, two last Dark World Order agents, got ready. One in the small cart at the side loaded his sniper rifle. They heard the engines of the BMW Z3 Roadster coming near them!
ėNow!î The one in the cart yelled.
The motorcycle veered off, gaining on the car.
ėI donít think these guys mean good to us!î Micki exclaimed.
ėI think youíre right!î Shorty said.
He started to veer right and left as the men started to fire. They got up beside the car and kept shooting at the passenger side window. Shorty stopped the car, ducking. He jumped out of the passenger seat and pulled out his Colt Peacemaker. He jumped to the floor as the DWO goons started to fire. He shot at them repeatedly, killing off both. He kept on shooting at the motorcycle in anger which blew it up. Shorty got up and threw his gun to the ground and dashed to the car. He cradled Micki. Tears formed in his eyes.

Shorty and the Lamberts wriggled their bodies as the nightmare continued on. They finally woke up.
ėHAHA!î Sauron chuckled. ėI have been waiting for this five years now!î
All three brothers shot him a cold look.
