Guidelines, perhaps?

Hey, I was just wondering what the protocol was for publishing a story on the board here. I've got a story on my personal site, so the EASIEST thing to do would be posting a link to it. BUT, if the powers that be prefer the text to actually be present here, then I can do that. How often are updates required? I ask only because I've already got five chapters and will only have one or two more before the story is finished. Do I need to apply for a publishing license? Do I need copyright permissions? Does a dark- robed council have to meet and cast secret ballots for this...?
