I wouldn't like to see a movie that told a story I've already fully experienced several times for myself. Fate of Atlantis works great as a game, and I'm totally content with leaving it as a game only. Wouldn't you rather see a new adventure with Indy after waiting so many years for the fourth film? It's almost certainly going to be his last shot, film-wise. It would be a waste to retell a story that has already been done perfectly. Also, a lot of the intricate locations and puzzles would be lost in the translation to film - the very things that made Fate of Atlantis so fun and involving!

As for Atlantis itself, check this page out. There is even a link in the theory section to another site with the full transcripts of Plato's dialogues.
