I think you're referring to the bullets. They're used there to differentiate the various replies to the posts. If you'll notice, the original post has a filled-in dot. The reply to that post has a dot, but not filled in. Finally the reply to that reply is a filled-in square. It seemes that the square is the last bullet. Hope this helps.
