The jacket from Wested Leather is *not* distressed... it is new and you
must allow nature and your adventures do the distressing (unless you
want to artificially distress the jacket - Wested can advise on how
that might be done). Part of the value of personal items is the joy
and toil one puts in to making it their own (remember that baseball
glove you broke in 'just right' after many, many hours of playing?).
You'll appreciate your jacket much more when you break it in over the
years of use.
