I can remember this, too. I was surprised not to see this part when I watched the video. Also, I can remember scenes from "Raiders" which seemed to be cut out as well. I seem to remember some footage between the chamber of light and the bottomless pit in the idol scene. Now there is a direct cut to the pit from the light chamber. I seem to recall Indy and Marion kissing in the bar. This footage is no longer there. I have read the novelizations and have the card sets, which may influence my memory a bit, but I swear the above footage I described were in earlier prints of these films.
