Temple of Doom main inspiration!

Besides Saturday matinee serials, Temple of Doom was inspired by a 1939 adventure film called, Gunga Din starring Cary Grant. It's about British troops in the 19th century battling the Thugee Cult. It's a perfect supplement to Indiana Jones. A lot of fun. However, they don't rip out any hearts (damn!). I suggest you guys rent it.
