Why in FOA .....?

Hey guys! Could somebody tell me why songs in Fate of Atlantis CD are different than the same in the first version on 3.5'' floppys? Is perhaps a problem of my sound card? (I've got a Sound Blaster Live). Please, answer me this! THE FLOOR'S ON FIRE!
