: It's really no big deal that we've seen them, I actually got on the bandwagon well after my friends. They never discussed the movies before I saw it but after I did, I asked my friends if they've seen them and they said "of course, I saw it when I was very little". I was 10 at the time of this. I also got that same reaction when I asked if they've seen the Star Wars movies. That boggled the mind for me. However, I was glad I saw Star Wars knowing very little about it, kind of like the people who first saw it in 1977, huh?
I don't usually say anything regarding SW, but I'll admit the original trailers for Star Wars were the dumbest things I had ever laid eyes on. I had NO interest at all attending this silly thing. My friend literally coerced me into going by buying my ticket and a box of popcorn. I actually ducked when the first star battleship went overhead at the beginning of the movie. It was only THEN did I realise that I was in for something that had never been seen before. Yep, 1977 was an interesting year. Regards. Michaelson
