That's what Indy said when Marcus was trying to warn him about the supernatural nature of the Ark. Given this portrayal of Indy in Raiders, how can authors of the novels (or fans) justify the extreme amount of magic seen in books like "Secret of the Sphinx"? These stories take place before the films, but it's clear that in 2 out of 3 films Indy doesn't believe in such things as magic. If Indy had experienced the events of some of these books he would KNOW magic existed - so how can we take these far-fetched "prequel" novels seriously?
