scanning pictures...and to Indy Magnoli..

I am going to try to scan those photographs of the Chartres, but I also have a few others from an archeological dig in Austria. A few freinds I visited were excavating near the town of Pitten (south of Vienna.) some burial mounds. However, I don't know what tribe they belonged to I do remember that the mounds were from the Roman period. Large time span I know, but I 'm thinking during the time of the barbarian incursions. Maybe Goth. I'll find out when I get the pictures scanned. I just figured some of us Indyfans would like to see a real dig.
Oh, and to Indy Magnoli... Where exactly in New Zealand are you at. I have alot of family there and know the country well. Great place. Great hiking and some pretty nice people. Best.
