: Oh, you're talking about The Crystal Skull parts. Well obviously you didn't read the earlier McCoy novels, they explain alot of your questions. Here they are in order:

I have read all of the books but I also don't really get the point of the Crystal Skull chapter in SotS. What was the Skull trying to show Indy? It's cruel past?
I also don't get the point why Indy looks like a 50 year old man. I know McCoy had a timetravel plot in the book but I found the "old"-thing unsatisfactory. How does the age thing work with Temple of Doom?
Anyway except this questions I liked the book a lot!
