Ok, let me pitch this idea to you folks who like to do the novels and short-stories. Consider a story involving Indy in a relatively realistic moment in Archaeological history in the 20's and/or 30's.
You see, I liked the way G. Lucas incorporated historical events into the Indy timeline and visa-versa with the YIJC. Perhaps we could start an endeavor where we can create a story involving our hero working side by side with other REAL historic figures in and around the field of anthropology/archaeology. This would require real research with a little imagination in the mix, with a resulting enhanced understanding of America's contribution to archaeology and a feeling of comradery in creating another adventure for our hero.
Anyone interested in an in-depth research approach to a realistic and fun Indy adventure, let me know. --nitzsche
