I agree with those who wrote that McCoy is the best author to start with. His books have the strongest Indy feeling because McCoy has a very visual writing style. Forget Caiden until you have read all other books. When you read MacGregor's books you'll need time. His books are a bit slow and dull, they never really gave me the real Indy feeling.
