but there have been other versions of "King Solomon's Mines" which are
good film. There was a 1930's version with Paul Robeson, and 1952
version with Stewart Granger that is quite excellent, all shot on location
in Africa. I have also read some of H. Rider Haggard's works, including
"King Solomon's Mines." They are good Victorian-style adventures, and well
worth checking out from the library!
