Spielberg DVDs

From what I've read about Spielberg, he hasn't allowed any of his movies to be released on DVD as yet. According to a biography I have, he owns shares or something in another DVD competitor format and is waiting to see how the market develops. But due to the popularity of DVD it can't be too long before we can view digital Indy... I hope.
