There wasn't actually a Junkers Trimotor until the Ju52 came along in the mid thirties, and that's a completely different design. The plane in ToD is a Ford Trimotor which happens to look almost exactly the same as the Fokker Trimotor, the difference being the Ford is covered with corrugated metal and the Fokker was wooden. I think you might be referring to this one. Also, Fokker was a Dutch design bureau, not German.

The planes in Raiders and LC are naturally Douglas DC-3 Dakotas.

One thing I was wondering about in Temple... how come the plane explodes after hitting the mountain when there's no fuel on board? I always felt sorry for the chickens.
