Indy Hat

No one seems to ever mention the hat that Indy wore on the plane in Raiders, the one he pulls over his eyes. I even believe this is the same hat he sports at the very end of the movie as he and marion speak together on the stairs. It is much lighter, tannish/grey, with a stiffer block to it. Does anyone have information on this Indy hat variant?
