I couldn't disagree with you more, Aragorn. First, since the "Lord of the Rings" movies haven't even been cast yet, there's no way to know how good they'll be. They could star Leonardo or Keanu or some Godawful creep from "Dawsons Creek" for all you know.
Second, I can't believe you'd rank "Last Crusade" and "Temple of Doom" higher than "Raiders"? They're both good movies but they pale in comparison to the masterpiece that is "Raiders" and are really just a shadowy reflection of the original. They both are lacking in good villains and sexy dames like Marion. The action isn't as good and the scripts aren't as funny or as smart.
This is how the two trilogies rank IMHO.
1. Raiders of the Lost Ark
2. Empire Strikes Back
3. Star Wars (A New Hope)
4. Return of the Jedi
5. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
6. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

PS. Lets not forget about the new Star Wars trilogy..
