: : I was interested in submitting a few ideas to Steven Spielberg for script/movie ideas. Where would I write to?
: I hate to say this, but you might as well try throwing your ideas in a bottle and tossing them out to sea. Unless you are a professional writer represented by an agency, or have a dynamite spec script or script breakdown that is good enough to get purchased or represented by an agency, I doubt Speilberg can even think of looking at your ideas for obvious legal reasons. Most high-talent industry people -- be it filmmakers, actors, studio exec's, etc... shy away from looking at any outside submissions, for fear that doing so may have legal repercussions.
Sure you are absolutely right - I have personal experience in that. But if - as you say - one has a great spec script? Unfortunately, even here he is unaccessible. Got any advice?
