Short Round was mis-thought in the reviews

On a few reviews I read about Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade surprised me.. It was "Indiana Jones teams up with a singer, and a 12-year-old chinese CAB DRIVER." COME ON!!! Shorty wasn't a cab driver!!! "He was wandering the streets of shanghai, I found him trying to pick my pocket". I should punch the guy who wrote that. What do you think??
