: : : Has anyone ever seen Gunga Din??? I think it's with Cary Grant. Had it not been for that fact I would never have watched the 30 seconds that I did. That movie resembles ToD because in those last ten minutes they have the bad guys dressed the same way and a the rope bridge breaks just like in ToD. And the bad guys chase the good guys with swords and stuff. Just thought I'd point that out.

: Well see, I only watched 30 seconds of it out of the last ten minutes and since I didn't see Cary in those 30 seconds, I decided it wasn't worth while. Gunga Din was made in like 1944 or something like that. I like old movies so that's why I watched the 30 seconds, not to mention the chance to see the majorly hot Cary Grant.

There is a scene in "Casino Royale", one of the 1960s movies that inspired Austin Powers, that has an incredible resemblance to the opening scene (Anything Goes scene) of ToD. It is the scene where David Niven (James Bond) meets his daughter, Mata Bond (Yes, his child by Mata Hari). A silly movie that is a must for Austin Powers fans.
