My agent spoke with Pat Labrutto (series editor at Bantam) and the word was that if there is going to be another IJ novel, it will be an Indy IV movie novelization. He also said that if they were going to revive (his words) the series, it would be with either MacGregor or McCoy.

That doesn't mean that there won't be any more novels, or new authors, just that it is very, very unlikely.

Still, if sales turn around, who knows...
