I just watched Raiders AGAIN and I made an observation....

Does anyone else wonder why in just ONE part in Raiders, Gobler speaks English (Either "Perhaps the girl can help us." or "My feeling exactly!"), and throughout the rest of the movie that he lives, he speaks German?
