: Hi all,
: Here's some info I've managed to dig up on the replica Indy Jones hats, which I haven't before seen on these pages.
: Stark & Legum, suppliers of the popular Stetston Temple, have a web-site, which gives you directions on taking measurements, and where you can actually order your hat on-line.
: Stetson, the makers of the hat, also have a web-site which displays shots of their product.
: with the Temple located in the casual section.
: Incidentally, I have a question regarding the hats. Do Herbert Johnson produce carry the Indy hat as part of their line, or do they specially make them to order. Also, how much are they?
: As I understand it, the Herbert Johnson hats resemble that featured in the first movie, which is quite different to those in the sequels. To those that own the Stetson Temple: which film hat does it most closely resemble, and how closely does it resemble it? :-)
: Many thanks,
: Rod
Many thanks for this info, Rod. I called Stark et al. last night and ordered a catalog. Funny thing, after reading Stetson's description on their web page ,then Starks, the brim size description is intersting. Stetson lists two sizes, where Stark the one. I emailed Stetson and asked what did the two size brim measurements mean. The picture of the "Temple" looks so much like my Broner it isn't even funny! I appreciate you finding this. I hadn't had the time to look them up. Regards. Michaelson
